Sailors' Cafe

this was the place where i wanted to makan last week but the cafe was fully booked. so not to be dissappointed this time round i made a reservation (click here). did you ladies realise that this is the third time this month that we met up? :)

Kym's Gift House shares the space with the cafe
this drink has a long name attached to it which i can't remember but it has lemon, sour plum & mint - must try if you don't mind getting bits of mint every time you take a sip
tomato & herb bruschetta - will definitely order this again!
simple salad green - front view
rear view ;)
meat platter - best shared between 4-6 friends (i know it's a lousy shot)
you have to order the teriyaki beef balls (extreme right) - i highly recommend it
what it looks like once we were done with it - meat eaters of the world unite!
brown sugar and creamer for my coffee - tea & coffee on the house
chef/proprietor (Nestor Suan) - local lad - he chatted with us for a while - you have to talk to him if you get a chance as he had some interesting stories to tell of his working days on the high seas
instead of ESPN this was showing on the plasma tv - "the living ocean" as Nestor loves the ocean
just love this wall - photos are actual shots taken during Nestor's travel

overall comment : their staff are friendly, the food is served quickly and well presented plus the price is affordable!

p.s. good night "Girls" - ha ha ha ha
